Some players have their own style and preferences on which side they go on the offensive. Some prefer through the right flank and some take the left route. Here is a graphical presentation of how key players, who helped their teams qualify for the quarterfinals, attacked during their previous four matches and how successful they were.

Top 5 goal scorers ever
On June 23 Miroslav Klose equalled Ronaldo’s record (15 goals) as the World Cup top goal scorer of all times. However, there are some circumstances that make Klose the best ever in comparison. Klose's goals were not off penalties and his goals were decisive in five matches. On the contrary only four of Ronaldo's goals were decisive. There were 736 players playing in the 2014 Fifa World Cup. All those players represent 365 clubs around the World, out of which 189 are Uefa clubs, followed by 68 Concacaf clubs, 58 AFC clubs, 35 Conmebol clubs and 15 CAF clubs respectively:
